While social media is plastered with photos of people's first takeaway lockdown coffees or indulgent McDonald's feeds, Aucklanders are feeling a bit left out of the hype train and people around the country are for once feeling somewhat sympathetic to those doing it rough in the big smoke.

There is some good news for Aucklanders though, even those who haven't paid their library fees, as Auckland library has announced they are removing fines and wiping all debts from existing users.
