A person has died after a dirt bike crashed at Bald Hill in Southland.

The crash on Knutsford Road was reported to police just before 3.30pm.
The person died at the scene
Police enquiries are underway to establish what occurred.
Emergency services are currently at the scene of an incident at a dirt bike park in Glen Murray, Waikato.
Police say cyclists and drivers had to take evasive action to protect themselves from the group as they raced around Auckland yesterday.
