A second person has been arrested following a smash and grab in central Auckland.

A Michael Hill shop on Queen Street was targeted about 3am Tuesday and a 19-year-old arrested and charged with burglary.
A 29 year-old man has since been charged with burglary.
Property taken from the store has been recovered, however police are encouraging people to continue being vigilant for new jewellery items being listed on social media.
