Emergency services are responding to a serious crash in the Auckland suburb of Kingsland.
Police said the crash on New North Road was reported at about 1.38pm and involved a vehicle and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian is in a serious condition and the two vehicle occupants were being assessed by ambulance staff, police said.
New North Road remains open in both directions, but a part of the shoulder has been cordoned off where the accident occurred.
Police said the Serious Crash Unit had been advised and there would be further investigations into the circumstances of the crash.
