Aussie rockers Cold Chisel will celebrate 50 years since their first New Zealand visit when they are joined by Icehouse, Bic Runga and Everclear at this year's Summer Concert Tour.
Legendary rocker and Cold Chisel frontman Jimmy Barnes had open heart surgery in 2023, and admitted he never thought he would see these milestone performances come together.
"There have been plenty of times where I never thought I'd live to see this day so I'm going to make the most of it. I can't wait to celebrate with my mates and with all the fans who have been such a big part of our story. We're gonna smash it!"
Guitarist and singer Ian Moss promised fans they will play their most popular hits.
"There are a minimum of 15 songs that our audience demands to hear. This time we'll be playing all of them plus we'll be throwing in lots of musical surprises."
Greenstone Entertainment announced the lineup on Wednesday, which will kick off in Queenstown on 18 January, before heading to Taupo on 25 January and making a return to the Coromandel for a Whitianga show on Sunday 26 January.
Greenstone Concert Club members have priority access to pre-sale tickets from 10am on 27 June, with general release available from noon on 1 July.
Locals in Queenstown, Taupo and Whitianga can secure limited locals tickets from 9am on 27 June from selected locations.
