The Remutaka Hill road between Upper Hutt and Wairarapa has reopened after a two-vehicle crash stalled holiday traffic for hours.
Motorists are being told to expect delays.

One person was seriously injured in the collision on State Highway 2, while a second person has moderate injuries.
