One person has died following a crash between a truck and pedestrian on State Highway 3 this morning.
The Whanganui crash near Blueskin Road in Westmere was reported at 10.15am.
Police said the pedestrian was located in critical condition and CPR was started, but they were unable to be saved.
The crash is under investigation.
