A 60-year-old Auckland man has been charged following an alleged stabbing in Titirangi Saturday evening.
Police said they were called to a Woodlands Park Road address about 7.20pm after a man suffered serious injuries.
Enquiries led police to a Mount Roskill address where a 60-year-old man was arrested shortly after 10pm.
He has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and is due to appear in the Waitākere District Court Monday.
The victim remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing but now the case is before the court, police said they could not comment further.
