The man who died after an assault in Hawke's Bay last week has been named as Flaxmere man Keith Pati, who was 33.
A homicide investigation was launched after Pati died in Hawke's Bay Hospital at 11pm on Sunday, after he was dropped off at the hospital following an attack.
Detective Inspector Martin James said his condolences went to Pati's family and loved ones.
Meanwhile, police were continuing to focus inquires on the area of Camberley.
"In particular, we are wanting to hear from the residents of Huia St and Takahe St.
"Police are asking residents to report any items that may have been located in the area, including discarded clothing items.
"If you have found any property not belonging to yourself in the area, please contact police."
