A man has been arrested after a shooting in Feilding's Kowhai Park in Janaury.
Detective Sergeant Joe Salisbury said officers executed a search warrant at a Palmerston North address on Friday, and the man was arrested without incident.
He is due to appear in the Palmerston North District Court on Saturday, charged with aggravated robbery and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The arrest comes after what were reports of an online marketplace sale gone wrong.
The man also faces several charges relating to other incidents.
Salisbury said the shooting was distressing for the tight-knit community, and police were pleased they had made an arrest.
"We also wish to thank the public for their assistance with information relating to this incident, which in turn has helped us in making today's arrest," he said.
