The Green and Labour party adjacent local body political group, City Vision, has announced its 2025 candidates for Auckland Council.
Aucklanders will be voting in new councillors later this year.
City Vision candidate Julie Fairey was set on retaining her position as an Albert-Eden-Puketāpapa Ward councillor, and would stand alongside local board member Jon Turner.
Patrick Reynolds, who is deputy chair of the City Centre Advisory Panel which advises on the best use of the City Centre Targeted Rate, would also be contesting the Waitematā and Gulf Ward, currently represented by Mike Lee.
Chair Bobby Shen said the three candidates represented the group's vision for the city.
"We need people who are experienced, engaged, and willing to put in the mahi working with the communities they represent to bring forward positive benefit to all Aucklanders."
He said the group was focused on ensuring homes were built near the public transport network.
He said they were also concerned about protecting the environment including restoring the city's waterways.
