Police in Auckland are investigating after a cannabis grow house was discovered following a fire.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Ellerton Road in Mount Eden at about 11.20pm on Monday.
Fire and Emergency said five trucks attended the blaze, with the fire well involved when they arrived.
The fire was extinguished at about 12.30am and police said further enquiries established evidence cannabis was being grown at the address.
A spokesperson said a scene examination was expected to take place on Tuesday with Fire and Emergency and the investigation was continuing.
