Police have arrested a trio aged 13, 14 and 20 after an aggravated robbery in Titirangi overnight.
The trio were tracked across the region after attempting to steal from a dairy on Titirangi Road just after 8.30pm.
Police said a worker was knocked to the ground and threatened with a weapon.
The owner was not injured.
The offenders fled in a vehicle.
Waitematā CIB's detective senior sergeant Megan Goldie said the vehicle was found by a camera operator and tracked by a helicopter.
"The vehicle was successfully spiked on Porchester Road, before eventually coming to a stop," Goldie said.
She said the 20-year-old driver and two passengers - aged 13 and 14 - were soon arrested in Takanini, after attempting to flee on foot.
The driver faces charges of aggravated robbery, dangerous driving and failing to stop.
The 14-year-old has also been charged with aggravated robbery.
