A fire in a boiler room at Hutt Hospital has been extinguished, after nine fire trucks or support vehicles were called to the scene.
Fire and Emergency shift manager Murray Dunbar said the fire was brought under control, and put out just after 9pm on Saturday.
Crews were now ventilating the space.
Health NZ has been approached for comment.
