A man who was found dead in the water near the Wairau Bar in Marlborough last week has been identified by police.
He was 66-year-old David John Groves.
Officers were called to Wairau Bar Rd on August 23 after a member of the public spotted a body in Spring Creek.
The police were investigating on behalf of the Coroner.
