Police have made several arrests and recovered roughly $100,000 worth of stolen vehicles in a bid targeting gangs in Northland.

They include members from gangs like Black Power, the Killer Beez, the Mongrel Mob and the Nomads.
Sixteen search warrants were carried out.
The vehicles recovered included a Polaris, a Toyota Landcruiser, a Mercedes and several motorbikes.

"Police continue to take firm action against those peddling the misery of methamphetamine into many of our vulnerable communities.
"Our community has spoken up and we are continuing to target the prevalence of methamphetamine, so this is by no means the end."
