More than a quarter of a million people still need to enrol for the general election and referendum on the voting system in November.
The Electoral Enrolment Centre says more than 90% of eligible voters have enrolled for the election on 26 November, but 280,000 are yet to do so.
The deadline to enrol and be included on the printed electoral roll is Wednesday next week.
New Zealand citizens are required by law to enrol.
