- In Wellington, SH1, SH2 and SH 58 are open but with some surface flooding in places. Motorists advised to expect delays.
- All trains cancelled in Wellington - likely until this afternoon - and there are no bus replacements.
- MetService has a severe weather warning in place, again for parts of the North Island.
