A disciplinary hearing will tonight decide how to deal with a child after an incident with a referee during an under-12s rugby match at the weekend.

Auckland Rugby said an independent panel has been appointed to hear from the teams involved - Papatoetoe Rugby Football Club and Marist Eastern - and the Referees Association.
It is not known how long the hearing will last or if the findings will be released tonight or tomorrow.
