Nathan Guy remains the Minister for Primary Industries after Prime Minister John Key announced his new Cabinet line-up today following National's comprehensive win in the general election.
Mr Guy said he was looking forward to getting back to business.
"I'm really excited. I was rapt to get the phone call from the Prime Minister yesterday, and I'm looking forward to working closely with industry on our export double target. We've got a lot of priorities ahead of us," he said.
"When you look across the future focus and the potential out of Asia for all of our products, not just dairy, we're also seeing a bit of a boom now in red meat, and I'm very optimistic that we will still reach our export double target of $64 billion by 2025."
In other appointments, Jo Goodhew replaces Nikki Kaye as the Minister for Food Safety, while Tim Groser remains Minister of Trade.
