The Blues back Charles Piutau has agreed to play for English Premiership side Wasps later this year.
Piutau, who missed out on the All Blacks squad for the World Cup, signed with Irish side Ulster earlier this year.
However Ulster are not in a position to include him on their roster for this season as their foreign allocation is full.
The 23-year-old utility back, who will join the Pro12 side next July, has signed a one-year deal with Wasps.
Piutau played for Auckland and the Blues and has been capped 17 times for New Zealand.
Ulster announced his signing in April in a surprise move, with Piutau expected to re-sign with the Blues and New Zealand Rugby.
