The Peru football captain Paolo Guerrero has been suspended for 30 days for a doping violation and will miss the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against the All Whites.

The 33-year-old star striker tested positive to a banned substance after their goal-less draw against Argentina last month.
The All Whites host Peru in the first leg in Wellington next Saturday before the return leg in Lima five days later.
The Peruvians are expected to arrive in New Zealand for the first leg in the coming days.
The winner of the intercontinental playoff will earn a spot at next year's World Cup.
