The All Blacks have come through to win tonight's Bledisloe Cup rugby test against the Wallabies, in Melbourne.
The win makes good on the All Blacks' position as favourites going into the rare midweek test against the Australians, despite their patchy season so far- but only by a slim margin, at 39:37.
Recap the game as it unfolded below, with Jamie Wall's blog commentary.
At half time each team sat at 10 points on the scoreboard and Australia was down to 14 players after Darcy Swain was sinbinned.
Before tonight the All Blacks had a one-point lead at the top of the Rugby Championship standings, while the Wallabies were third on points difference.
The match at Marvel Stadium was the first of two between the sides, with the Bledisloe Cup on the line.
Australia has not held the Bledisloe since 2003 and did not manage a win over the ABs in the previous two seasons.
