New Zealand driver Nick Cassidy has lost his lead in the Formula E championship after failing to feature in both races of the round in Jakarta.

German Porsche driver Pascal Wehrlein won the first race to claim the overall series lead in the all-electric class while compatriot Maximilian Guenther won the second Monday, the latter result handing Maserati a first victory in a single-seater world championship since their last Formula One success in 1957.

New Zealander Mitch Evans was forced to retire from race one but placed third in the second race in his Jaguar to sit fourth overall, one place behind Envision Racing's Cassidy, who had a weekend to forget.

Porsche lead the team standings with 212 points to Envision Racing's 190 and Jaguar's 171.
