No All Blacks or Black Ferns have been nominated for World Rugby's Player of the Year Award.

Possibly unlucky to miss out is All Blacks loose forward Ardie Savea who won the award last year.

The men's finalists are Irish forward Caelan Doris, Springbok forwards Pieter-Steph du Toit and Eben Etzebeth and South African back Cheslin Kolbe.

All Blacks looise Wallace Sititi does make the finalists for Men's Breakthrough Player of the year.

There are no Black Ferns in the Women's Player of the Year category, but first five Hannah King is a Breakthrough Player finalist.

Georgia Ponsonby's try against Australia in May is up for Women's 15s Try of the Year.

Michaela Blyde and Jorja Miller are finalists for Women's Sevens Player of the Year.

The winners will be announced at the Awards evening in Monaco on 24 November.
