The Black Caps have scored another big win over Pakistan to complete the T20 series.

New Zealand achieved an eight-wicket victory in Wellington to take the series 4-1.

Jimmy Neesham took five wickets as Pakistan finished on 128 for nine and Tim Seifert then smashed an unbeaten 97 as the home side reached their target in ten overs.

After winning the toss the Black Caps bowled tightly with Jacob Duffy taking two wickets for 18 runs, while Nessham's stint near the end of the innings ended any hope of a Pakistan revival as he finished with five for 22 from his four overs.

Captain Salman Agha top scored with 51, while Shadab Khan made 28.

In reply, Seifert soon turned it into a no-contest as he smashed the Pakistan attack.

His 97 came off 38 balls and included ten sixes an six fours.

Finn Allen played the supporting role again with 27.

"It was good fun," Seifert said afterwards.

"It was a bit tricky early on which made the decision to put pressure on them a lot easier."

Seifert admits his experience playing in T20 leagues around the world has given him the confidence to attack with the bat.

"It's been a great learning and the way you play, not necessarily coming out that hot but it's just about adapting to conditions and it was bouncy tonight so you have to make the most of that bounce."

Seifert's last game for the Black Caps before this series was a year ago and he had scores of 44, 45, 19, 44 and 97.

"Very proud how this series has been, obviously been out of the team for a while so it is nice to come back and put performances on the board and tonight was a great one as well."

The two sides now meet in a three-match ODI series with the first in Napier on Saturday.
