NZ Warriors coach Andrew Webster has retained the same starting side to face North Queensland Cowboys for Magic Round at Brisbane on Saturday.

Webster made a late change to his named line-up against Newcastle Knights last week, moving Marata Niukore to the front row, Leka Halasima in his second-row spot and Jackson Ford to the interchange bench. That's how they're named this week.

The only real change comes on the bench, where half Te Maire Martin replaces forward Jacob Laban, who is under concussion protocols.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys have also retained the same squad that fronted against Gold Coast Titans, when Harrison Edwards was a late addition to the interchange.

Coached by former Warriors assistant Todd Payten, North Queensland sit in sixth on the NRL table - two spots behind the Warriors - with four straight wins, after starting their season with three losses.
