The Warriors women have added another Premiership-winning player to their squad for the 2026 NRLW season.
Centre Mele Hufanga joined fellow Brisbane Broncos premiership winner Gayle Broughton by signing with the Warriors for next season.
Three days after confirming the 29-year-old Broughton's two-year deal, the Warriors have banked a second huge signing coup by securing Hufanga for two years with a mutual option for a third season in 2028.
Hufanga, 30, won the Karyn Murphy Medal as the player of the match in Brisbane's 22-18 victory over the Roosters in Sunday's grand final.
Hufanga started her rugby union career in Auckland and represented Tonga three times.
She then switched to rugby league and the Broncos in 2023, making a total of 32 appearances and scoring 24 tries.
She has also played four times for the Kiwi Ferns and this week was named in the squad for the Pacific Championship.
"We identified Mele a key recruit for the Warriors," said head coach Ron Griffiths.
"She's a powerful world-class centre who will bring a wealth of experience to our club."
Hufanga said it was "really special heading back home next year to the Warriors" and "even better I get to be with my family."
