A Russian aeroplane has skidded off a runway after making an emergency landing in Siberia, Reuters reports.
The ATRAN plane from Sabetta was landing at Novy Urengoy Airport when it over-ran the runway, spokesperson Vyacheslav Strod said.
The landing gear strut had failed, Strod said.
Eight crew members and commercial cargo were on board.
