Audiences at Opus Orchestra's next concerts in mid-October get to delve deep into one of Beethoven's best-loved works - his Symphony No 7.
In the first half of each concert, conductor Brent Stewart (with the help of the orchestra) will look at some of the key themes, rhythms and harmonies of the symphony. And in the second half, the orchestra performs the whole work.
Opus Orchestra will take the concert on a "three-city tour" of Hamilton, Rotorua and Tauranga.
Stewart says, "We hope to see lots of people there, coming to either greet the symphony as an old friend, or discover something really remarkable and special."
