New Caledonia's dengue outbreak has claimed another life.
A 54-year-old man has died in hospital - the 11th victim this year.
This year, more than 4,200 have contracted the mosquito-borne disease.
The government said despite the arrival of the cooler season, dengue was still present and a bout ten cases are being diagnosed every day.
It has urged people to be vigilant about protecting themselves against mosquitoes and destroying potential breeding sites.
