Papua New Guinea church leaders, led by Catholic cardinal Sir John Ribat, are on a fact finding mission to Bougainville ahead of next year's planned vote on possible independence.

The group includes leaders from the Salvation Army, the PNG Council of Churches, along with Agape International .
