A search is underway in Papua New Guinea's New Ireland province for 11 people missing at sea.

Police in nearby West New Britain say the group, which includes children, have not been heard from in nearly two weeks.
Inspector Peter Sanginawa said they were travelling on a motorised dinghy in choppy weather, ignoring storm warnings.
He said searching the remote north-eastern group of islands that make up New Ireland is difficult.
