The main road across the border between Papua New Guinea's West Sepik and the Indonesian Papua Province is blocked due to flooding and landslides.

The governor of PNG's West Sepik Province said it had been raining heavily now for two weeks.
Tony Wouwou said two bridges had been washed out and several houses damaged in West Sepik but so far no reports of any deaths or injuries in PNG.
He said the border road is currently impassable to any traffic.
"The road going to border it is not accessed now because of the heavy flooded. So buses and them cannot get accross to villages after the border."
Tony Wouwou said he was aware of the deaths and displacement in Indonesia's neighbouring Papua Province due to the continual heavy rain in the area.
