A Chinese national has been found guilty of distributing counterfeit bank notes in Vanuatu.

The man is an employee of the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, which is currently building several government infrastructure projects.
The man used a counterfeit 10,000 vatu ($US85) note to buy an external hard drive in November 2018.
He was arrested when he later tried to use a fake 5000 vatu note at the same store.
