With vaccine passports set to become a part of everyday life in New Zealand, myriad ethical and legal questions are being raised about when people will be required to prove they've had both Pfizer jabs. One of the more contentious areas is likely to be the workplace, where employers must currently weigh staff's right to work in a safe environmment, against privacy and the right of individuals not to get vaccinated if they don't want. Nathan Rarere spoke with employment law expert Max Whitehead about the legal minefield around vaccine passports and the workplace, and asked him what happens if an employee refuses to be vaccinated.
