1.20  APRA 2022 Silver Scroll Awards special

On Tuesday the 18th of October the 57th APRA Silver Scroll awards were held at Spark Arena in Tamaki. 

It was the first full-scale ceremony since 2019.

We play you the highlights, interviews and of course some of the finalists songs reinterpreted.

1.45 Laura Jean brings 'Amateurs' Others Way 

Australian singer songwriter Laura Jean’s forthcoming album Amateurs is set for release on the 4th of November, and she is one of the only international acts playing at Others Way this weekend.

Charlotte Ryan chats to her ahead of the performance.

Tamaki musician Aimee Renata AKA Erny Belle came into the Auckland 

In the summer of 2019, Erny relocated from Tāmaki Makaurau to the Northland township of Maungatūroto to write and record her debut album, Venus Is Home, released in February 2022.

Erny Belle played the opening Night of Nelson Arts Festival and he plays her own headlining show Hollywood Avondale on the 4th of November.

3:30  Lil Chief Records 20th Anniversary 

New Zealand based indie pop record label formed in 2002, and this week it's celebrating its 20th Birthday. 

Releasing music from The Brunettes, The Ruby Suns, Jonathan Bree, Princess Chelsea, The Nudie Suits and more.

Charlotte spoke to Gareth Shute from Audioculture and who played in 3 Lil Chef bands about the labels history.
