Pioneering rapper Chuck D inspired a wave of Hip hop through his social and political commentary in Public Enemy.

Now the legendary hip hop group are back in Aotearoa to perform in October to Auckland's Trust Arena on October 15. Joined by local rapper, MELODOWNZ for their On The Grid 35th Anniversary Tour

2:30 Aotearoa's rising rap star Jujulipps

The trophy’s keep coming for South African raised, Tāmaki Makaurau based rapper and hip hop artist Jujulipps.

In April she won the Auckland Live Best Independent Debut for her EP Get That Shot at the Taite Music Awards. An accolade she says she was very grateful for.

Selecting the songs is veteran broadcaster Grant Walker. He has worked across the spectrum in radio as a breakfast host and newsreader, through to television. Where many will know him as narrator of the popular local TV show Sale of the Century

He also knows the ins and outs of RNZ National’s programming, as a presenter, lead scheduler and voice trainer for many years and left the role recently to take up a new opportunity in journalism as NBR’s first Editor in Chief of Strategy.
