Scalper is the musical project of Nadeem Shafi - A UK born Pakistani musician who now calls NZ home.
His first visit to Aotearoa was when he performed at Womad Festival WOMAD 1997 as the vocalist for the British band Fun-da-mental.
Nadeem was so taken with our country, saying it gave his mind clarity, that he returned and has lived here for 15 years.
Now based on the wild West Coast of Auckland at Te Henga. He has just released his 5th solo album ‘The Shine’ a project inspired by the death of his mother.
