Dam Native’s Danny Haimona (aka Danny D) joins Kara Rickard in the studio to celebrate the reissue of Kaupapa Driven Rhymes Uplifted, one of Aotearoa’s greatest hip hop albums.
Danny talks about the ongoing political and musical legacy of the album, and takes us back to the moment in 1997 when the Dam Native crew knew they had made a hit record.
