Time for walkies: The new Ringlets album and tour

Auckland post-punk band Ringlets have returned with their second studio album, The Lord Is My German Shepherd (Time for Walkies).

Ringlets is László Reynolds on guitar, Leith Towers on vocals, Arabella Poulsen on bass and Arlo Grey on drums.

To celebrate the release of the album, the band will be embarking on a tour of Aotearoa, with dates in Ōhinehou, Ōtepoti, Te Whanganui a-Tara and Tāmaki Makaurau.

It is the follow up 2023’s self-titled debut and features singles ‘I Was on That Roof Once’, ‘Street Massage’ and ‘Heavenly Wheel’.

Earlier in the year the band played Wellington’s Newton Festival, and more recently, the Auckland alternative music festival Junk Fest.

Ringlets join Tony Stamp for a kōrero about the new album on Music 101.
