Doctor Avi Vajpeyi is a research fellow at the University of Auckland.

He listens to gravitational waves emitted from black holes colliding with each other.

Avi is part of a number of international scientific collaborations on the signs and signals from space.

He's holding a public talk as part of Raising the Bar in Auckland next Tuesday, and he joins Emile in the Auckland studio.

10:17 What we can learn from the Disney World legal case

A man wanted to take Disney World to court for wrongful death, after his wife died of an allergic reaction after a trip to the theme park.

But Disney is dismissing the claim, saying the husband signed away his rights to bring a lawsuit against Disney when, years prior, he agreed to the terms and conditions as part of setting up a Disney Plus account.

Senior lecturer in the Faculty of Law at the University of Auckland Joshua Yuvaraj joins Emile to discuss the case.
