New Zealand's inaugural poet laureate, and founder of the International Institute of Modern Letters, whose new book, The Stories of Bill Manhire (VUP, ISBN: 9780864739254), collects stories from previous collections, previously unpublished stories, a novella, and memoir. His third musical collaboration with composer Norman Meehan and singer Hannah Griffin, Small Holes in the Silence, was also launched this week.
