Dr Vladimir Hachinski is Distinguished University Professor of Neurology at the University of Western Ontario in Canada. He was instrumental in establishing the world’s first successful acute stroke unit, was editor-in-chief of the journal Stroke from 2000 to 2010, and is President of the World Federation of Neurology.
Dr Hachinski is visiting New Zealand as a guest of the Neurological Foundation Chair of Clinical Neurology. he talks to Kim Hill.
