Adriane Ohanesian is 2nd prize winner of the Contemporary Issues category in the World Press Photo Exhibition, which features the best photojournalism from around the globe in 2015. She presented a series entitled The Forgotten Mountains – which documented the lives of Sudanese women and children hiding in caves in the mountains of Darfur to escape ground attacks and aerial bombardment by their own government’s forces.
