A fire investigator is at the scene of a blaze that's caused disruption in central Wellington, as firefighters mop up.
More than seven fire trucks as well as specialist appliances descended on the two storey building, believed to house a wellness spa and dry cleaners, around 9pm on Monday.

The building was fully alight when crews arrived, but firefighters had extinguished the flames by 11pm.
Tory Street was closed between Courtney Place and Vivian Street, as was Ebor Street.

Two appliances remained on stand-by.
Fire and Emergency said an investigator was taking a preliminary look at the scene on Monday evening, and would return for a full look on Tuesday morning.
