Steve Williams was on Woods' bag for 13 of his 15 major victories - but the pair fell out and their partnership ended in 2011.
But - in a piece for the Players Voice publication - Williams admits he broke his rule of not watching golf on TV to watch Woods' drought breaking win at the US Masters on Monday.
He said it was a remarkable performance and was a bigger achievement for Woods than winning his first major.
Cruden to reportedly off to Scotland
Former All Blacks first five Aaron Cruden is reportedly set to take a $400,000 pay cut to get his rugby career back on track.
According to The Scotsman newspaper - Cruden could leave French club Montpellier to reunite with former Chiefs coach Dave Rennie at Glasgow Warriors.
Cruden joined Montpellier in 2017 - but has struggled to make an impact on the European club scene.

The Central Pulse have maintained their unbeaten start to the ANZ Premiership netball season - with a hard fought 59 - 49 win over the Northern Mystics in Porirua.

NZ drivers impress in Formula 3 testing
New Zealander Marcus Armstrong continued his strong pre-season Formula 3 form with the Ferrari junior driver topping the first day of the series' Hungaroring test for Prema Racing.
Fellow kiwi Liam Lawson, another Red Bull junior, took seventh overall for the MP Motorsport team.
The series returns for its final day of pre-season testing tomorrow.
