New Zealand Olympic double medallist Ally Wollaston posted a first win for her new UCI World Tour team with victory at a one-day race near Melbourne.
Wollaston sprinted home to win the inaugural Surf Coast Classic, an event being used by a host of world class riders as a warmup for this weekend's WorldTour Cadel Evans Great Ocean Race.
FDJ-Suez team signing Wollaston finished the 119km blitz from Lorne to Torquay by holding off American Olympic track gold medallist Chloe Dygert and hometown favourite Georgia Baker.
"I felt really, really strong today," Wollaston said.
"In the last few races maybe I've struggled mentally, to really stay present in the race and stay attentive and be confident enough that I'm good enough to be there in the final.
"Today, as soon as I started climbing, I knew I had a good shot at the win."

The 24-year-old won two medals on the track at last year's Paris Olympics - claiming silver in the team pursuit and bronze in the Omnium.
Wollaston returns to New Zealand next week to contest the national road championships in Timaru.
