Classes will be suspended for the entire week at the University of Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby after students decided to boycott their schedule in protest against the prime minister.
The student body met last week to discuss their concerns about a growing list of governance issues around Peter O'Neill and his government.
The students have called on Mr O'Neill to step aside to face corruption allegations, and as a consequence decided to boycott classes.
The Student Representative Council this morning issued a notice to inform the entire student body that it is suspending classes for this week.
